  How do I connect my Netdata data to my AI?

  You subscribe to the MCP on Vinkius and then provide your Netdata Cloud Token or Agent URL. Once connected, your AI client can immediately start querying your data.

  You can use any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.

  Can I monitor both local agents and Netdata Cloud?

  Yes. The MCP allows you to query local agents for alarms and chart data, as well as navigate Netdata Cloud spaces and rooms.

  What kind of metrics can my agent access?

  Your agent can access granular data from various charts, including CPU, RAM, Disk, and Network metrics.

  Do I need to use the Netdata dashboard to see alerts?

  No. You can use your AI agent to check for active alarms on local agents or list space-wide alerts through the MCP.

  Use the get_chart_data capability. You need to provide the chart ID (e.g., 'system.cpu') and optionally specify time ranges like after or aggregation methods like group.

  Yes! Use the list_space_alerts capability with your space_id. It will return all active alerts across all nodes connected to that specific Cloud space.
