  How do I connect Tingyun to my AI client?

  You subscribe to the MCP on Vinkius and provide your Tingyun API Key and Secret Key. Once connected, you can use it immediately in Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or any compatible client.

  What kind of data can my agent access?

  Your agent can access APM application summaries, active alerts, database lists, external service calls, and RUM browser application data.

  Can I use this for troubleshooting production issues?

  Yes. You can use the agent to check active alerts and query specific metric data points to identify bottlenecks in real time.

  Does this replace the Tingyun dashboard?

  It doesn't replace it, but it changes how you interact with it. Instead of manual navigation, you use natural language to get the same data through your AI agent.

  Which AI clients are compatible?

  This MCP works with any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf.

  How do I find my Tingyun API Key and Secret?

  Log in to your Tingyun console, go to [Account Management] → [API], and you will find your unique API Key and Secret Key there. Ensure you have the necessary permissions enabled.

  Can I query specific metric data through this server?

  Yes. Use the get_metrics capability with the application ID and a comma-separated list of metric names. Your agent will retrieve the data points for the specified metrics.

  Yes! Use the list_browser_apps capability to access performance data from Tingyun RUM (Real User Monitoring) for your web and browser applications.
