How does the agent remember what I have already seen?

The MCP is stateless. You simply tell your agent the date of your last check, and it will only return episodes aired after that date.

Yes. The watchlist_delta capability allows you to check up to 5 shows in a single call to stay efficient.

What happens if a show name is hard to find?

The find_shows capability helps resolve names to IDs, and the watchlist capability handles unresolvable shows gracefully without failing the whole request.

What happens when I hit the rate limit?

The call returns an actionable error telling you to retry in about 60 seconds and to batch shows with watchlist_delta instead of separate calls. that one call checks up to 5 shows, which is usually comfortably under the limit.

Which shows and data does it cover?

The full TVmaze catalog (scripted, reality, animation; US and international) with episode air dates, networks, season premiere/finale dates and status. If a show isn't in TVmaze, the search capability tells you so explicitly instead of failing silently.
