Build WhatsApp flows with this MCP Server
Building notification systems usually forces you to mock fake endpoints. Now you can have your VS Code agent actually test the real infrastructure while it writes the integration. Tell the agent to build a new alert module. It writes the TypeScript, imports your environment variables, and tests the logic by firing a real text via `send_message`.
Template management and delivery
Hardcoding message formats is a bad habit. You want your application to pull the latest approved layouts directly from the official API. Your agent uses `list_templates` to see exactly what formats are active on your account. Then it writes the delivery function and validates it using `send_template` to ensure the variables map correctly.
Automated connection debugging
API failures happen, especially during active development. When a text fails to send, your agent needs to know why before it starts rewriting perfectly good code. Instead of guessing, it executes `get_status` over the MCP connection. If the channel is disconnected, it stops trying to push payloads and tells you to fix your configuration. If it's online, it checks the recent logs via `list_messages` to see what went wrong.
