Auditing components in Cursor
The `validate_accessibility` tool reviews your code in Cursor to ensure every element uses semantic HTML instead of click handlers. It flags missing landmarks immediately. Your agent forces the implementation of correct keyboard navigation and focus traps during the generation process. This prevents accessibility debt from entering your codebase.
Contrast and motion checks in Cursor
Use `validate_accessibility` to lock in contrast ratios of 4.5:1 or higher for all text. The tool scans your color definitions to avoid common compliance failures. It also mandates `prefers-reduced-motion` overrides for any CSS transitions. Your agent won't output motion media without these safety checks in place.
Screen reader compliance in Cursor
The `validate_accessibility` tool forces the agent to define all alt texts and aria-labels for every interactive component. It checks these against EAA 2025 standards. This workflow ensures your generated forms have explicit label relationships before you even run the code. You catch these errors while the cursor is still active.
