Turn BigQuery Insights into Campaigns

Your Gemini agent can now connect insights from BigQuery directly to your email marketing. Have it analyze customer purchase history or user behavior, then use that data to build hyper-targeted segments in Acelle Mail. This closes the loop between analytics and action. Once your agent identifies a target segment, it can use `create_acelle_list` to make a new list and `add_acelle_subscriber` to populate it. It's a direct path from your Google Cloud data warehouse to a ready-to-send email campaign, all orchestrated by your agent.

Reason Over Campaign History

Gemini's large context window means your agent can analyze your entire Acelle Mail campaign history at once. Feed it months of performance data and ask it to identify trends, spot your most successful campaigns, and suggest what to do next. The agent can use `list_acelle_campaigns` to get the big picture and then drill down with `get_acelle_campaign` for specifics. This lets you build sophisticated agents that don't just execute tasks, but provide strategic recommendations based on past results.

Build Enterprise Marketing Agents on Google Cloud

Use the Google ADK to build marketing agents that live right alongside your existing Google Cloud infrastructure. This Acelle Mail MCP Server gives your agents the tools they need to manage email lists, check campaign stats, and add subscribers, all within your secure cloud environment. Because this is an MCP Server, authentication is handled with a single Vinkius token. There's no complex OAuth setup. Your agent gets secure, direct access to the Acelle Mail API, making it easy to integrate into your existing Vertex AI pipelines or Cloud Functions.

Setup guide

Set up Acelle Mail MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Acelle Mail tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Acelle Mail_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Acelle Mail tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about Acelle Mail MCP in Google ADK

You'll use the `McpToolset` class from the `google-adk` library, pointing it to your Vinkius MCP server URL. Pass this toolset to your LlmAgent, and it will discover the Acelle Mail tools automatically.
Yes, that's a primary use case. You can build an agent that queries BigQuery for a list of users, then uses the `add_acelle_subscriber` tool to add them to a specific list in Acelle Mail.
This setup works with any model supported by the Google ADK, including the Gemini family. The long-context models are particularly useful for analyzing data from `list_acelle_campaigns` to find trends over time.
Yes. When you initialize the `McpToolset`, you can use the `tool_names` filter. Just provide a list of the tool names you want to expose, like `['get_acelle_campaign', 'list_acelle_subscribers']`, to create a read-only agent.
Your agent only interacts with your Acelle Mail subscriber and campaign data. The server itself is stateless and doesn't keep your information. All actions are executed over a secure connection authenticated by your Vinkius token, fitting right into your existing Google Cloud security model.
