Connect Acuity Scheduling MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Acuity Scheduling to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Access Appointment Types and Products
The `list_appointment_types` tool retrieves all active bookable services offered in your account. Copilot reads the duration, price, and category for each service. Your team builds pricing pages using the actual data returned by the API. Querying `list_products` pulls your available gift certificates and physical items. A developer asks the agent to generate a checkout flow. The AI populates the cart logic with real product IDs from your scheduling system.
Query the Acuity Scheduling MCP Server for Classes
Calling `list_classes` fetches your scheduled group sessions along with their capacity limits. Your agent checks the enrolled counts before writing validation logic for your registration forms. It knows exactly how the payload structures class limits. Identifying who teaches those classes requires `list_calendars`. This tool grabs the provider and instructor profiles attached to your account. Copilot references these profiles to build accurate staff directories in your frontend code.
Retrieve Account and Booking Details
Running `get_account` pulls the core business profile and settings from the connected account. You command the editor to configure environment variables. The AI extracts the correct timezone and business name directly from the source. Pulling specific session data relies on `get_appointment` to fetch the full record via its unique ID. Your team tests webhook handlers by having the agent pull a real booking payload. Nobody wastes time writing JSON fixtures by hand.
