How to Use the Adobe Firefly MCP in Windsurf
Generate custom visuals and edit assets inside Windsurf by connecting the Adobe Firefly MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Adobe Firefly MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Adobe Firefly to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct image generation in Windsurf
Trigger `text_to_image` directly from your Cascade chat to get photorealistic outputs without leaving your editor. Cascade parses your prompt and handles the parameters for you. Type your description and watch the results appear in your workspace. You skip the browser entirely and keep your focus on the code.
Manage assets with Adobe Firefly tools
Use `upload_image` to pull external files into your session. Once they are in the sandbox, you can call `remove_background` or `generative_fill` to modify your assets. Cascade handles the sequence of these operations automatically. It chains the tool calls to deliver the final edited image.
Create text effects and vector graphics
Run `text_effects` or `text_to_vector` to produce design assets within your project structure. These tools generate high-quality outputs based on your specific style requirements. Your MCP Server makes these assets available for your UI components immediately. You stop switching tabs and start building faster.
