Direct mailbox inspection inside VS Code
Cline calls `list_folders` to grab your internal email folder hierarchy directly inside your editor. It then feeds that folder path into `list_messages` to pull recent emails. Since Cline is an autonomous agent, it reads these messages to debug incoming webhooks or parse error logs sent to your system inbox. You get the raw data right in your workspace.
Programmatic email delivery using the Cline MCP Server
This server exposes `send_email` to let Cline dispatch outbound messages via the AfterLogic Web API. Cline drafts the body, fills in the headers, and executes the transfer. You can instruct Cline to write a test script, run it, and email the test report to your team in one continuous operation. It handles the API call and shows you the exact diff of what was sent.
Administer domains and accounts autonomously
Cline checks your system setup by querying `list_domains` to see all mapped custom domains on your AfterLogic server. It then runs `check_account_exists` to verify if specific user accounts are active. This lets Cline handle user onboarding tasks or audit active accounts. It flags missing mailboxes and alerts you if a domain isn't mapped correctly.
