Set up AI21 Studio MCP in Claude Code

Prerequisites

Claude Code CLI installed (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code)
Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

Run the add command

Open your terminal and run the command shown on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. Use --scope user to make it available across all projects.

Verify the connection

Start a Claude Code session and type /mcp to list connected servers. You should see ai21-studio-mcp with a green status indicator.

Start using tools

Ask Claude Code something like "Check my latest AI21 Studio transactions." It will automatically discover and invoke the available AI21 Studio tools.

Run claude mcp add --transport http ai21-studio -- in your terminal. The configuration saves automatically to your ~/.claude.json file.

You can run the agent in headless mode within a GitHub Action. It will connect to the endpoints, process your text files, and exit with standard status codes.

The server exposes the summarize endpoint specifically for this reason. Claude Code reads your massive log dumps and shrinks them down before passing the data to other analytical tools.
