Build Search UI with Real Data
Hardcoding mock search queries wastes time. When you enable Agent mode, this MCP integration lets the AI call `list_top_searches` and populate your frontend components with actual user data. You see how your layout handles real-world text lengths immediately. Fixing broken states happens the same way. The agent triggers `list_no_result_searches` to grab queries that fail, letting you design accurate empty-state screens without guessing.
Optimize Ranking Logic Inline
Tweaking search weights is tough when you lack context. Your AI client can run `get_average_click_position` right in your editor while you adjust the ranking algorithm. You get immediate feedback on how previous changes performed. Adding `get_click_through_rate` into the prompt gives you the full picture. The agent reads the production metrics and suggests code adjustments to push relevant results higher up the page.
Debug A/B Tests in Cursor
Managing split tests via MCP keeps you in the flow. Just ask the editor to execute `list_ab_tests` and fetch the active variants. The AI maps the winning test IDs directly to your feature flags. Validating those tests requires checking user volume. A quick call to `get_unique_users_count` confirms if your sample size is large enough before you merge the PR.
