Build Apps with Live OSS Data
Cline can now use Aliyun OSS as a live data source for the code it writes. Tell it to build a component that displays a configuration JSON stored in OSS. It will use `download_object_text` to get the file, then write the React or Vue component, import the data, and show you the final code. It’s not just pasting text; it's building with it.
Automate File Management from VS Code
Stop switching to a UI to manage your OSS files. Just tell Cline what to do. "Delete all temporary files from the staging bucket" triggers a `list_objects` followed by multiple `delete_object` calls. You can also have it copy backups with `copy_object` or check an object's headers with `get_object_metadata`. Cline executes the task and you stay in your editor. This is what an MCP integration should feel like.
Cline Writes Code That Manages OSS
This isn't just about one-off commands. Ask Cline to write a Python script that uploads a daily report to a specific bucket. Cline understands the goal. It will write the script, using the `upload_object` tool to handle the file transfer, and then stage the new script file for you to commit. It automates the automation.
