Script Your Business Operations
Connect Altoviz to Claude Code and run your business from the command line. You can script routine checks, like finding all unpaid invoices. Just pipe the output of `list_sale_invoices` to `grep` or `jq` to filter the results. This is perfect for automation. Set up a cron job that uses `list_customers` to check for new sign-ups in the last 24 hours and POSTs the results to a monitoring service. It's a simple, reliable way to build reporting into your pipelines.
Integrate Business Data into CI/CD
This MCP Server makes your business data available in any automated workflow. For instance, you could add a step in your deployment script that uses `list_products` to verify that a new feature's product IDs are valid before going live. Because Claude Code is just a CLI, you can run these checks anywhere—in a GitHub Action, a Jenkins job, or a simple shell script. It's a powerful way to add business logic to your DevOps processes.
Headless Reporting and Monitoring
Altoviz provides the tools for on-demand financial reporting. Write a script that calls `list_sale_quotes` and `list_sale_invoices` to generate a daily sales summary, then pipe it to an email or Slack message. You can also monitor your supply chain from the terminal. A simple script could periodically call `list_suppliers` and check against a known list, alerting you to any unexpected changes. This is all done headlessly via the MCP connection.
