Deploy contracts via AutoGen multi-agent teams

Set up a specialized agent to handle `deploy_contract` calls while another verifies the bytecode. This ensures your deployments go through a review process before hitting the network. You reduce risk by requiring consensus. The agents talk to each other to confirm the deployment parameters are correct.

Debate AntChain transaction status in AutoGen

Have one agent call `query_transaction` and another analyze the result. If the transaction fails, they discuss why and decide on a retry strategy. This removes the need for you to watch the console. The agents handle the back-and-forth until the transaction is settled.

Analyze network health with AutoGen agents

Use `query_network_info` and `get_chain_list` to keep your multi-agent system informed. Agents can adjust their behavior if the network shows signs of congestion. Your system adapts to the environment. It makes decisions based on the live blockchain data rather than static configurations.

Setup guide

Set up AntChain MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes AntChain tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="AntChain_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent AntChain data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about AntChain MCP in AutoGen

You pass the tool list to the agent constructor. Each agent in your group chat can then invoke the tools as needed for their part of the task.
Yes. That is the point of the framework. Agents will challenge each other's tool calls until they agree on the correct transaction parameters.
The MCP adapter converts tools into a format the agents understand. They treat these tools as actions they can take during their conversation.
You provide the necessary credentials to the server. The agents inherit these permissions when they call the tools through the MCP interface.
The server restricts access to blockchain metadata and transaction logs. Your private keys and internal agent discussion logs remain isolated from the public chain data.
