Connect api.video MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect api.video to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live api.video metadata into Cursor code
With Cursor in Agent mode, the `get_video_details` tool injects live api.video metadata directly into your active code file. This lets your Cursor agent write accurate player components using real api.video schemas instead of placeholder data. When styling your player in Cursor, the `list_player_themes` tool fetches your actual design configurations from api.video. Your Cursor editor uses these real api.video theme IDs to write working frontend code on the fly.
Build and test api.video assets with this MCP Server
The `create_video_object` tool lets your Cursor agent initialize new api.video containers directly from your editor chat or terminal. This MCP Server lets you test your api.video configurations without leaving the Cursor workspace. If an api.video test upload fails, your Cursor agent runs `delete_video` to remove the asset from api.video. This keeps your active api.video library clean while you iterate on your code inside Cursor.
Manage api.video captions inside Cursor
The `list_video_captions` tool reads active subtitle tracks for any api.video asset directly into your Cursor editor. Your Cursor agent can analyze these tracks to help you debug api.video sync issues or generate translation files. You can also call `list_video_chapters` to inspect the api.video structure inside Cursor. This MCP Server gives your Cursor editor the exact api.video timestamps to build custom interactive video navigation menus.
