Script account audits with Claude Code

Running manual checks on utility accounts wastes time. You can drop this agent into a cron job and have it run `list_accounts` via the MCP Server every morning at 6 AM. The CLI grabs the JSON output and pipes it directly into your alerting system. Headless execution changes how you monitor infrastructure. Claude Code follows up by running `get_account_check` to verify the connection health, failing the CI/CD pipeline immediately if an auth token drops.

Extract billing history from the shell

Finance teams always need historical cost data at the worst possible times. Instead of logging into a web portal, you just tell your terminal to run `list_statements`. The agent pulls the entire billing history and drops it into a local file. Digging deeper requires zero context switching. If a specific month looks expensive, the CLI executes `get_statement` to grab the line items. You get the exact breakdown printed to your standard output without leaving your SSH session.

Sync hardware meters via MCP Server

Tracking physical infrastructure drift is a massive headache. You can trigger a script that uses `list_meters` to pull the current hardware state from the utility provider. The agent formats this data so you can compare it against your internal asset database. Finding orphaned meters takes seconds. The CLI cross-references the hardware with active logins using `list_credentials`. Any meter without a valid login gets flagged in your terminal output instantly.

Setup guide

Set up Arcadia Plug MCP in Claude Code

Prerequisites

  • Claude Code CLI installed (npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Run the add command

Open your terminal and run the command shown on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. Use --scope user to make it available across all projects.

  2. 2

    Verify the connection

Start a Claude Code session and type /mcp to list connected servers. You should see arcadia-plug-mcp with a green status indicator.

  3. 3

    Start using tools

Ask Claude Code something like "Check my latest Arcadia Plug transactions." It will automatically discover and invoke the available Arcadia Plug tools.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http arcadia-plug-mcp https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp

Common questions about Arcadia Plug MCP in Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http arcadia-plug -- . Make sure you put the transport flag before the server name.
Yes, the CLI operates completely headless. You can script it to run `list_statements` during a deployment pipeline to log utility costs alongside your infrastructure changes.
Ask the CLI to fetch your hardware list. It will execute `list_meters` and you can tell it to pipe that output directly into a local CSV or JSON file.
Your environment variables might be missing. When the agent runs `get_account_check`, it relies on the auth token configured in your local JSON settings file.
Only if you explicitly tell it to write a file. The Vinkius backend processes your statement line items and meter IDs in a stateless V8 sandbox, leaving no trace on the server side.
