Connect Azure Log Analytics Workspace MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Azure Log Analytics Workspace to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Turn Logs into Code
The `query_logs` tool lets your Cursor agent fetch real data from your Azure Log Analytics workspace. Your agent doesn't just get a text response; it gets structured data it can use to write functions, tests, or data models. This MCP makes your agent a lot more useful. Ask your agent, "Find an example log entry for a successful user login and create a TypeScript interface for it." It will use `query_logs` to get the data from Azure and then write the code for you, right in your editor.
Debug with Live Context
Stop switching between your editor and the Azure portal. When you hit a bug, you can ask your agent to pull the relevant logs using `query_logs` without ever leaving your file. This changes how you debug. You can highlight a function and ask, "Are there any error logs from this service in the last 15 minutes?" The agent gets the answer from Azure and presents it right next to your code.
Test Against Real Data with this MCP Server
Writing unit tests with fake data is a pain. With this MCP Server, you can ask your agent to pull a sample of real log entries to build realistic test cases. For example, tell your agent: "Fetch 10 recent 'InvalidInput' errors using `query_logs` and write a Jest test that asserts our parser handles them correctly." It gets the data and writes the test.
