Connect BallDontLie MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect BallDontLie to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build live NBA trackers with Cline
The `list_games` tool enables Cline to pull live match schedules and scores directly into your VS Code editor. Cline reads these payloads to write react components or backend routes without leaving your workspace. You can tell the agent to build a dashboard, and it will use this MCP Server to fetch actual game results, write the code, and show you the diff.
Populate local databases with player details
The `list_players` tool gives Cline the ability to search the NBA registry and map player profiles to your local schema. The agent runs the query, extracts the IDs, and writes the seed files automatically. This eliminates the need to manually download CSV files or write mock data generators when building your sports apps.
Retrieve deep game analytics on demand
The `get_game_details` tool provides Cline with granular matchup statistics, including team scores and game status. Your agent uses this data to write unit tests with real-world inputs instead of dummy objects. Cline can run the test suite, catch errors, and adjust the parsing logic based on the real API responses it receives.
