Standardize security in VS Code Copilot
Commit a `.vscode/mcp.json` file to your repo so every dev uses the same Black Duck (Synopsys) tools. You ensure the whole team checks the same project versions. Use `list_projects` to verify that everyone is auditing the correct codebase. It prevents configuration drift across your engineering organization.
Automate audit tasks in VS Code Copilot
Call `list_vulnerabilities` during your pull request review to catch issues early. You get a list of threats that meet your policy criteria. Run `list_policy_rules` to confirm your local environment matches the team standard. It forces a consistent approach to dependency management.
Get deep project insights in VS Code Copilot
Use `get_project` to view the full details of your software supply chain. You see the project structure without logging into a web portal. Execute `list_users` to see who manages the project configurations. This helps your team coordinate security updates efficiently.
