How to Use the Blockchain.com Data MCP in Cline
Cline builds apps with live Bitcoin data. Fetch blocks and balances directly in VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Blockchain.com Data MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Blockchain.com Data to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes block data requests
Tell Cline to inspect a specific hash and it runs `get_block` to pull the raw details. It then parses that data to build your project components. Forget writing boilerplate fetchers. Cline handles the tool calls and writes the necessary code to display the results.
Cline tracks Bitcoin network stats
Ask Cline to visualize current network health using `get_network_stats`. It gathers the metrics and generates the charts you need for your dashboard. Your agent does the heavy lifting. It connects the data to your UI components automatically.
Manage address data inside Cline
Use `get_address` to pull balances for any wallet. Cline uses this to verify transaction status or build tracking tools for your users. Everything stays within your editor. You tell Cline the goal and it does the work.
