Build Legal Workflows with the Cursor MCP Server
This MCP server uses `search_legal_cases`, `get_case_details`, and `search_court_dockets` to feed live case law and docket metadata straight into your active code files. Your agent uses real legal data to build applications instead of relying on mock APIs. You can write scripts that pull precedents and format them into markdown tables. The editor handles the connections, letting you focus on the logic of your legal tech tools.
Extract and Parse Court Filings in Your Editor
The tools `get_docket_entries` and `get_filing_document` extract raw docket sheets and filing texts directly into your active editor session. You can inspect the structure of court filings and build local parsers with live payloads. This eliminates the need to download PDFs manually and write parser code blindly. You get the exact document structure right in your workspace.
Query Business Intelligence and Experts
You retrieve background data on litigation targets using `search_companies`, `search_expert_witnesses`, and `search_legal_news`. These tools pull corporate structures and past testimonies directly into your editor's context. Your agent uses this context to generate detailed reports or prepare files for upcoming trials. It keeps your legal research and code in one clean environment.
