Build contract features with this MCP Server
Cline builds legal features directly into your codebase by calling Bounsel tools over MCP. It pulls your template list with `list_templates` and writes the frontend components to display them, mapping the fields automatically. Instead of just telling you how to write the code, Cline actually creates the files, imports the data from `get_template`, and writes tests to verify the integration works.
Trigger signature requests from code
You can have Cline set up automated triggers in your application that call `send_document`. It writes the backend logic to handle document signatures and hooks it up to your user database. By using `list_users` to verify signers, Cline ensures your app sends contracts to the right people. It tests the API calls locally to make sure your signature workflows don't break in production.
Manage and clean up active documents
Keep your Bounsel workspace clean by letting Cline audit your files. It uses `list_documents` to find outdated drafts and cleans them up using `delete_document` based on your criteria. Cline shows you the exact diff of what it plans to modify or delete before running the tools. You keep full control over your document lifecycle without leaving VS Code.
