Command web scraping pipelines from your shell

`trigger_dataset` starts a cloud-based web crawling run using Bright Data's marketplace datasets. Claude Code triggers this process instantly from your command line, bypassing the need for a web console. Your terminal agent monitors the job progress using `get_dataset_progress` and pipes the output. Once finished, it downloads the clean snapshot to your local directory using `get_dataset_snapshot`.

Route terminal requests through the Claude Code MCP Server

`send_request` passes HTTP calls through Web Unlocker or SERP API to bypass IP blocks and captchas. Claude Code uses this tool to scrape raw HTML or search engine outputs directly into your shell pipelines. This setup lets you pipe the returned clean data straight into grep, jq, or local files. It removes the friction of configuring custom proxy rotation libraries in your local scripts.

Inspect proxy zones and active browsers via MCP Server

`list_browser_sessions` lists active scraping browser sessions running on Bright Data's cloud. Claude Code calls this tool to diagnose hung browser tasks directly from your terminal session. To keep your scripts running, the agent checks `get_zone_passwords` and `get_zone_info` to verify active proxy credentials. It outputs the clean credentials so you can debug connection issues on the fly.

Run the `claude mcp add` command with the HTTP transport flag and your Vinkius server URL. This adds the configuration directly to your local `~/.claude.json` file.
Yes, you can run Claude Code headlessly in your deployment pipelines to trigger and monitor crawls. It uses the dataset tools to download fresh data during your automated builds.
The agent retrieves active proxy credentials using `get_zone_passwords` when authentication fails. It uses this information to update your terminal environment variables automatically.
This server supports both standard HTTP and SSE transport protocols. You can configure either option depending on your terminal environment and firewall rules.
No, the scraped dataset snapshots and API payloads flow directly to your terminal client. Vinkius operates an ephemeral sandbox that discards all session data immediately after execution.
