Build UI components with live data using this MCP Server
The `run_scraper` tool starts structured extraction jobs so Cline can fetch real-world data for your components. Your agent triggers the job and waits for the payload to arrive. Once done, the agent calls `get_scraping_job` to pull the structured JSON. Cline then writes the code to display this data in your frontend application without you copying a single line.
Direct URL scraping straight to your workspace
Accessing raw web content is handled by the `direct_scrape` tool. Cline runs this tool when it needs to read documentation pages or API references that aren't in its training data. To monitor your usage limits during long coding sessions, the agent checks `get_account_balance`. This keeps your automated tasks from stopping unexpectedly mid-build.
Inspect scraper configurations inside Cline
The `list_scrapers` tool lets Cline discover what active extractors are available over the MCP channel. The agent reads this list to pick the right parser for the task at hand. If it needs to drill down, `get_scraper` reveals the exact CSS selectors and target fields. This allows Cline to debug scraping issues or update your frontend parsers to match the incoming data structure.
