Connect Builder.io (Visual CMS) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Builder.io (Visual CMS) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync Local Code with Builder.io (Visual CMS) via Cline
The `get_content` tool pulls live CMS schemas directly into your active VS Code workspace. Cline reads this structure to generate matching TypeScript interfaces, ensuring your local components never break when a marketer changes a field name. If you notice a missing field, you can tell Cline to fix it, and it will run `update_content` to modify the model structure. You don't have to break your coding flow to log into the web dashboard.
Manage Media Assets directly with Cline
The `upload_asset` tool uploads files like images and videos directly to your Builder.io storage. Cline uses this tool when you ask it to build a new landing page component that references local assets. If you need to clean up old media, Cline calls `delete_asset_by_url` to remove abandoned files from your CDN. This prevents your media library from becoming cluttered with unused design drafts.
Run Raw GraphQL Operations using this MCP Server
The `query_graphql` tool executes complex queries to pull specific content slices directly into Cline. The agent uses this data to populate local mock environments or to debug live rendering issues. For administrative changes, this MCP Server exposes `admin_graphql` so Cline can run structural migrations. It lets you automate major content updates without writing throwaway Node.js scripts.
