How to Use the Cardly MCP in Windsurf
Let Windsurf Cascade design and mail physical greeting cards right from your IDE by connecting the Cardly MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cardly MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cardly to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Browse physical card designs in Windsurf
Cascade grabs the catalog when you ask it to find a birthday card. It runs `list_card_artwork` to pull available designs directly into your editor context. You never have to leave the IDE to pick a cover. Once it spots a good match, the agent pulls specific dimensions and metadata using `get_artwork_details`. The AI reads the exact physical specs before generating any inside text.
Manage address books automatically
Storing recipient details happens without manual data entry. Your agent checks existing groups via `list_contact_lists` and searches for specific emails using `find_contact`. If a team member is missing, Cascade inserts them right then and there. Calling `add_contact_to_list` pushes their shipping info straight to your account.
Preview and ship physical cards
Writing a custom message takes seconds because the AI drafts the text and generates a visual proof. Running `preview_greeting_card` returns a mockup so you know exactly how the printed version will look. Approving that mockup triggers the final step in the MCP workflow. Cascade executes `place_greeting_card_order` to send a real, physical piece of mail through the postal system.
