How to Use the Chargebee MCP in VS Code Copilot
Team-wide Chargebee billing management and testing inside VS Code Copilot.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Chargebee MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Chargebee to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Share Chargebee test environments across VS Code Copilot
By running `list_plans` and `list_addons` through VS Code Copilot, your team can access active product catalogs without leaving the codebase. Standardize how your engineering team tests billing integrations. This eliminates the need for shared Postman collections. Your developers can query the billing catalog directly from their active editor window.
Debug customer issues in VS Code Copilot
VS Code Copilot executes `get_customer` and `get_subscription` to pull active user states directly into your chat pane. When debugging a billing bug, you need to see the exact state of the user's account. Having this context right next to your code speeds up debugging. You can immediately see if a feature is locked due to an outstanding invoice.
Manage active billing states with this MCP Server
You can trigger `cancel_subscription` or `create_subscription` inside VS Code Copilot to simulate billing lifecycle events during development. This lets you simulate lifecycle events during development without leaving your IDE. The agent handles the API communication, leaving you free to focus on how your application handles the resulting webhooks.
