Build ChatFly bots with Windsurf Cascade
Tell Cascade you need a lead qualification bot. It reads your project context, picks up your company name, and fires `create_bot` with a custom welcome message. You do not have to map out the steps manually. Once the bot exists, Cascade automatically runs `upload_data_source` to feed it your local documentation files. This MCP server handles the entire setup chain while you watch the logs.
Feed local context to your MCP Server
Your documentation changes constantly. When you rewrite a feature spec, Cascade can spot the diff and push those updates straight to ChatFly. It grabs the new text and updates the knowledge base instantly. You just ask the agent to sync the latest docs. It maps your local markdown files, checks `list_data_sources` to see what is missing, and uploads the rest. No manual copy-pasting required.
Test conversations before deployment
Testing chatbots usually means switching to a browser tab. Windsurf lets you run `chat` right from your editor panel. You type a customer query, and the agent pings the bot to see how it responds. If the bot gives a bad answer, Cascade notices. It can immediately run `update_bot` to tweak the system prompt or feed it better data. You fix issues exactly where you write your code.
