How to Use the ChatGen MCP in Cline
Turn Cline into a full-stack chatbot manager that builds chat UI components and pulls live prospect data into VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ChatGen MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect ChatGen to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Deploy chat widgets via Cline
Adding a new support channel via this MCP Server usually means switching between browser tabs and your codebase. Now you just tell your agent to provision a widget, and it triggers `create_bot` to get the credentials. Once the backend entity exists, Cline writes the React component to embed it. It checks existing configurations with `list_bots` to ensure no naming conflicts occur before staging the commit.
Inject prospect data into test environments
Building a dashboard requires real data to look right. Ask your agent to populate your local database, and it calls `list_leads` to grab recent visitor captures. The agent drills down into specific records using `get_lead_details`. It then formats that exact JSON into your mock data files and writes the corresponding unit tests automatically.
Debug support flows with the ChatGen MCP Server
Fixing a broken dialogue tree is trivial when your editor can read the actual transcripts. Cline executes `list_conversations` to find exactly where the user dropped off. If a prototype goes completely off the rails, your agent can scrap it entirely. It runs `delete_bot` to clean up the workspace before starting a fresh implementation.
