Build billing features with the Cheddar MCP Server
Cline writes code that interacts with your live payment infrastructure. Ask it to build a customer dashboard, and it queries `list_cheddar_customers` to mock up the UI with real data structures right inside VS Code. The agent does not stop at fetching data. It writes the React components, imports the necessary API calls for `get_cheddar_product_info`, and stages the commit for your review.
Live invoice debugging
Fixing payment bugs means digging through transaction logs. You can point your agent at a specific user issue, and it will run `list_cheddar_invoices` alongside `list_cheddar_transactions` to find the exact point of failure. Everything happens in your editor. Cline reads the raw financial output, compares it against your local backend logic, and rewrites the broken webhook handler on the spot.
Autonomous metered charging
Testing usage-based billing logic is notoriously annoying. Instead of manual API calls, tell your agent to simulate a billing cycle, and it will execute `add_cheddar_charge` for specific test accounts automatically. You get immediate feedback on pricing updates. When marketing adds a new tier, Cline grabs the details via `list_cheddar_plans` and updates your database seed files to match.
