Full-Stack Chess App Generation
Cline doesn't just fetch data; it writes the code to display it. Instruct the agent to build a profile viewer, and it will use `get_player_profile` alongside `get_player_stats` to wire up a React component. The agent handles the file creation and imports the data structure directly. You get a working component populated with real Elo ratings and win-loss records in seconds.
Automated Tournament Tracking via Cline
Track competitive chess events autonomously. This MCP Server lets Cline pull tournament brackets and schedules using `get_tournament_metadata` and save them as JSON files in your repository. If you need to map participants, the agent calls `get_chess_club_details` to identify participating clubs. It updates your local files and prepares a git commit with the new data.
Curate Custom Puzzle Databases
Build your own tactical training set. Cline uses `get_random_chess_puzzle` to fetch positions, then writes them to a local SQLite database for offline practice. If you want to focus on daily challenges, the agent calls `get_daily_chess_puzzle` and appends it to your training log. It handles the file writes and error checking automatically.
