Run Campaigns from Google Cloud

This toolset connects your Gemini-powered agent directly to ChurchStamp's core functions. Your agent can `create_campaign` for a new outreach event or `send_mail` to send a single postcard to a new member, all orchestrated from your GCP environment. Imagine your agent getting a trigger from a Google Sheet, pulling a new member list from BigQuery, then using the `create_contact` tool for each new person in ChurchStamp. With the Google ADK, that's not a complex pipeline—it's just a few instructions for your agent.

Integrate ChurchStamp with BigQuery Data

The Google ADK excels at letting agents reason over large datasets. Your agent can analyze donation patterns in BigQuery, identify a segment of givers, and then use this MCP Server to `create_campaign` targeting just that group in ChurchStamp. You don't need to manually export and import lists. The agent acts as the bridge. It can use `list_contacts` to cross-reference your ChurchStamp directory with other data sources in your Google Cloud project before taking action.

Build Enterprise Agents with this MCP Server

Give your Gemini agent the tools to manage your church's mailings. It can `list_designs` to pick the right postcard template, `get_user_details` to confirm its own permissions, and `list_campaigns` to report back on what's running. Setting this up is straightforward. You wrap the Vinkius URL in an `McpToolset` and pass it to your `LlmAgent`. You can even use the `tool_names` filter to restrict the agent to a specific subset of tools, like only allowing it to read data.

Setup guide

Set up ChurchStamp MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with ChurchStamp tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="ChurchStamp_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to ChurchStamp tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about ChurchStamp MCP in Google ADK

You use the `McpToolset` class from the Google ADK library. Just provide your Vinkius endpoint URL and pass the toolset to your agent. The agent will then have access to all the ChurchStamp tools.
Yes. Your Gemini agent can use `list_campaigns` and `get_campaign` to pull data from ChurchStamp. You can then have it correlate that with information in BigQuery or other Google Cloud services to measure the campaign's impact.
The main benefit is the native integration with the Google Cloud ecosystem. If your member data or analytics already live in BigQuery or Vertex AI, the Google ADK lets your agent connect those systems to ChurchStamp without any extra glue code.
The `McpToolset` lets you filter tools from the MCP Server by passing a `tool_names` list. This lets you expose only specific tools, like `list_contacts`, while blocking access to `create_campaign`.
Your agent sends requests with contact and campaign data through a secure Vinkius connection to the ChurchStamp API. The Google ADK runs within your GCP project, giving you control over the execution environment. Vinkius itself doesn't persist your church's member data.
