How to Use the Cisco Meraki MCP in Cursor
Write network scripts and debug Cisco Meraki device statuses with an MCP Server directly in Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cisco Meraki MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cisco Meraki to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Code with Real Meraki Device Context
The `get_device` tool pulls real Cisco Meraki hardware metadata directly into your Cursor composer or agent chat. Your Cursor agent reads these live Meraki hardware payloads to write precise, production-ready network automation scripts.
Live Network Configuration Audits via MCP Server
This integration runs `get_appliance_settings` to import active Cisco Meraki security appliance configurations straight into your Cursor workspace. Having this live Cisco Meraki context in your Cursor editor means you spot misconfigured VLANs or routing rules before committing code.
Organization Mapping in Cursor Agent Mode
The `list_organizations` tool allows your Cursor editor to map out your entire Cisco Meraki tenant structure in a single query. Your Cursor agent queries the Meraki organization list, finds the target, and runs downstream tools like `list_devices` without manual input.
