Connect Civo (Cloud-native Kubernetes Cloud Provider API) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Civo (Cloud-native Kubernetes Cloud Provider API) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build and deploy Civo clusters
Cline excels at taking a blank slate and turning it into a running Civo application through this MCP connection. You tell it to build a web app, and it writes the code, creates the Dockerfile, and spins up the hosting environment. The agent queries `list_regions` to find the closest data center, then executes `create_cluster` to get Kubernetes running. Once the nodes are ready, Cline generates the deployment YAML and applies it.
Secure your compute nodes via Cline
Setting up Civo server access usually means context switching to a terminal and a web dashboard. Cline handles the entire authentication flow without leaving the editor. This agent generates a new keypair locally, reads the public key, and pushes it to your cloud account using `upload_ssh_key`. When it provisions a new machine via `create_instance`, it automatically attaches that key for secure access.
Native Civo MCP Server cost tracking
Running automated Civo infrastructure scripts gets expensive if you lose track of resources. This integration lets your AI client check your limits before it builds anything new. Cline runs `get_quota` to ensure you have enough capacity for a new database node. If you ask for a budget check, it pulls `get_charges` to display your current hourly usage report right in your VS Code sidebar.
