Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Clarifai (Vision AI) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Clarifai (Vision AI) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build code with live vision models in Cursor
`predict_model` executes real-time image classifications directly from your editor. The Cursor agent uses this MCP tool to test your vision endpoints and write code using the actual JSON responses. You get functional code built on real API payloads instead of static mocks. This speeds up your prototyping cycle because the AI knows the exact shape of your output data.
Map active datasets and semantic concepts
`list_datasets` reads your physical dataset boundaries directly from the workspace. Your agent uses this information to map out your files before writing data-loading routines. `list_concepts` checks the semantic tags applied to those datasets. This ensures your code references valid labels without you needing to log into an external dashboard.
Audit vision pipelines during development
`list_workflows` retrieves the structural chaining of your active vision pipelines. The agent reads these workflows to help you debug complex multi-step classification tasks. `list_models` and `list_apps` give the editor a complete map of your active compute limits and model structures. You avoid deployment errors by verifying your setup before committing code.
Set up Clarifai (Vision AI) MCP in Cursor
Prerequisites
- Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
- Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Open MCP Settings
Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (
Cmd+Shift+P/Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server". - 2
Add the Clarifai (Vision AI) MCP
Cursor will create or open
.cursor/mcp.jsonin your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Enable Agent mode
Open Composer (
Cmd+I/Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode. - 4
Verify the connection
Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Clarifai (Vision AI) transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Clarifai (Vision AI) tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.
