…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ClickUp MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect ClickUp to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end ticket execution
Cline handles the entire development loop through this ClickUp MCP Server. You tell the agent to build the feature described in a specific ticket, and it uses `get_task_details` to pull the exact requirements into VS Code. After grabbing the specs, the agent writes the component, imports your data, and runs the tests. It finishes the job without you ever tabbing out to check a project board.
Automated bug tracking in Cline
When a test fails or an API breaks, your agent logs the problem immediately. Cline triggers `create_new_task` to push the error log and stack trace straight into your team's designated triage list. Using this MCP connection, it finds that exact list by navigating the project hierarchy. The agent queries `list_workspace_spaces` and `list_space_lists` to locate the correct destination, ensuring no bug reports get lost in the void.
Workspace and team visibility
You need to know what your team is prioritizing today. Cline executes `list_list_tasks` to dump the current sprint backlog directly into your editor sidebar. The agent verifies its own access level using `get_my_clickup_profile` and maps out available environments via `list_clickup_workspaces`. It gathers all the necessary project context before touching your codebase.
