Large-Context Intake Processing

Your Gemini agent uses `create_application` to spin up new onboarding files based on unstructured data extracted from your BigQuery tables. It formats the required customer information into the exact JSON structure Clustdoc expects. This Google ADK integration feeds the tool outputs directly into Gemini's long-context window. Your agent analyzes thousands of pages of historical application data to decide which workflow to trigger next.

Enterprise Onboarding Audits

Run `get_application_details` and `list_applications` to audit your active onboarding pipelines directly from your Google Cloud environment. The agent checks the status of every file to find bottlenecks in your document collection. By exposing this MCP Server to your LlmAgent, you can restrict access to specific tools using the ADK's built-in tool name filters. This ensures your agent only reads application statuses without modifying them.

Synchronize Webhooks and Workflows using Google ADK

Keep your cloud databases updated by using `list_webhooks` and `list_workflows` to map your Clustdoc events to Vertex AI pipelines. Your agent identifies which webhook endpoints are active and routes new file uploads to Google Cloud storage. The Google ADK manages these connections via secure HTTP transport, letting your agent coordinate complex document collection steps across your entire enterprise infrastructure.

Setup guide

Set up Clustdoc MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Clustdoc tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Clustdoc_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Clustdoc tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about Clustdoc MCP in Google ADK

Initialize the toolset using the MCP Server URL and pass it to your LlmAgent. Your Gemini-powered agent will immediately find and use the document collection tools.
Yes. You can use the ADK tool names filter to expose only specific tools like `list_applications` while blocking write operations.
The ADK processes tool calls efficiently using standard HTTP transport, allowing your agent to check hundreds of application statuses without hitting rate limits.
Yes. The server supports standard transport protocols, making it easy to deploy within your secure Google Cloud VPC alongside your ADK agents.
All client data remains inside your designated Clustdoc account. The MCP Server acts as a stateless bridge, passing metadata like application IDs through secure, ephemeral sandboxes without saving any files.
