Connect Cocktail API MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cocktail API to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live drink data into Cursor code
The `search_cocktails` tool feeds real-time recipe structures directly to Cursor's editor during code generation. Instead of typing mock data, your agent pulls actual ingredient lists to populate your database seeds. This means you build your menu app with accurate specs from the start. Cursor writes the frontend components using the live payload, eliminating layout bugs caused by unexpected recipe lengths.
Auto-generate ingredient filters in Cursor
The `get_cocktails_by_ingredients` tool allows Cursor to test complex filtering logic against real drink databases. You write the filter function, and the editor executes it using live ingredient parameters. Integrating this MCP Server stops you from guessing API structures. Cursor writes the parser code, tests it with the tool output, and refines the types instantly.
Rapid menu populating in Cursor
The `get_classic_margaritas` and `get_classic_martinis` tools fetch complete recipe arrays straight into your active Cursor workspace. You can instantly scaffold a classic drink database without scraping the web. The MCP Server passes structured JSON arrays right to Cursor. Immediately, the editor uses this clean data to build and test your component rendering logic on the fly.
