How to Use the Codat Financial Data MCP in Cursor
Inject real financial data into your codebase using Cursor and the Codat Financial Data MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Codat Financial Data MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Codat Financial Data to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch live accounting data in Cursor
Call `list_accounting_customers` directly from your chat sidebar to pull real client records. You can then ask the agent to write code that calculates revenue metrics based on these live invoices. Stop relying on static JSON files for your testing. Use `list_accounting_invoices` to feed actual data structures into your current project context.
Debug banking transactions with MCP tools
Use `list_banking_transactions` to retrieve recent bank activity while you work on your payment logic. The agent uses these real responses to help you debug your transaction processing code. This workflow ensures your code handles real-world edge cases. You'll see exactly how your application interprets incoming bank feeds.
Automate company registration in Cursor
Use `register_new_financial_entity` to initialize new company testing environments without leaving your editor. This tool saves you time by automating the creation process inside your dev loop. Follow up with `list_financial_companies` to verify the entity was created successfully. You can then immediately start writing logic against those specific company IDs.
