Autonomous reranking for Cline
Cline can trigger the `rerank` tool to sort documentation before writing code. It takes your query and narrows down a massive list of files to the ones that matter. This stops your agent from hallucinating based on outdated or irrelevant documentation. It ensures the files Cline reads are actually the ones that solve the problem at hand.
Generate embeddings with Cline
The `embed` tool lets Cline create semantic vectors for your local project files. This allows the agent to build its own search index for finding relevant code patterns. By generating these vectors on the fly, Cline can perform smarter lookups. It turns raw text files into searchable data that the agent understands.
Monitor model usage in Cline
Use `list_models` to check which Command or Embed models are currently live. Cline uses this to decide which model version fits the complexity of your specific coding task. It avoids errors caused by using deprecated or incompatible model IDs. You always know exactly what the agent is hitting under the hood.
