How to Use the CoinLore MCP in Cline
Let Cline write code, build crypto dashboards, and fetch live token data using the CoinLore MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect CoinLore MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect CoinLore to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build live crypto dashboards in Cline
Tell Cline to build a React dashboard, and it will use `list_tickers` to fetch live token data, write the components, and wire up the state. Cline handles the entire implementation from UI design to live CoinLore data integration. The agent reads the JSON output from this MCP Server, writes the necessary typescript interfaces, and runs tests to ensure your dashboard renders the pricing data correctly.
Track coin metadata and social metrics
Cline uses `get_coin_info` and `get_social_stats` to verify a token's background and check its social media traction. Your workspace compiles these CoinLore metrics directly to audit new listings. Instead of manually searching forums, Cline pulls CoinLore social engagement numbers directly into your editor. This lets Cline build automated filters to flag projects with surging social activity.
Inspect global market health
Use `get_global_stats` to let Cline analyze total market capitalization and dominant assets before executing trading code. Your algorithms stay aware of macro crypto trends automatically. Cline can write guardrails in your trading scripts that pause execution if global CoinLore volume drops below a specific threshold. The active connection serves this raw data directly to your editor.
