Cline automates CometChat user flows

Cline uses `create_user` and `deactivate_user` to manage your user base as part of its coding tasks. It performs these actions as part of a larger plan to set up your environment. Running `list_users` allows the agent to find specific accounts for testing. It then pipes that information into the files it writes.

Programmatic group management for Cline

The agent invokes `create_group` to build chat infrastructure during its build process. It writes the code and then verifies the setup by calling `get_group_details`. Everything stays within your VS Code sidebar. The agent handles the back-and-forth so you can focus on the architectural logic.

Message handling through Cline

Use `send_message` to have Cline push test data into your chat system automatically. It verifies that your API integrations are active without manual input. `list_messages` fetches the history for your current project task. Cline uses these logs to debug message handling logic within your components.

Common questions about CometChat MCP in Cline

It is. Just go to the MCP Servers icon in the Cline sidebar to add the server URL. Cline will index the tools and start executing your requests.
Yes. Cline calls `send_message` whenever you ask it to fire off a test notification. It's a quick way to check if your webhook triggers are firing.

Only your endpoint token is stored in your local settings file. Cline uses this to authenticate your requests against the Vinkius gateway.
Your PII is never stored by this MCP server. It only passes through the ephemeral Vinkius sandbox to fulfill the specific requests you initiate.
