Fix Contrast Security alerts with Cline
This Contrast Security MCP Server exposes AppSec findings directly to your VS Code environment running Cline. Cline uses `get_vulnerability_details` to read the stack trace and execution path of a reported vulnerability. Once it has the details, the Cline agent modifies your local files, runs your test suite, and commits the Contrast Security fix. You resolve security findings without leaving your editor.
Target specific applications by name
Finding the right Contrast Security service takes seconds with this AppSec MCP integration inside Cline. The agent runs `search_applications_by_name` to locate the exact metadata for the repository you are currently editing. Cline then calls `get_application_details` to check its overall health and active alert counts. You get instant Contrast Security context before making any architectural changes.
Filter out non-critical security noise
Stop wasting time on low-priority warnings by using this Contrast Security connector inside Cline. Cline uses `list_critical_vulnerabilities` to pull only high-impact issues that require immediate patching. By combining this with `list_vulnerability_traces`, your Cline agent maps out the highest-risk files in your codebase first. You secure your platform systematically.
