Connect Convai MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Convai to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct NPC Code Generation in Cursor
The `create_character` tool allows your agent to spin up new game entities directly from your active code files. When writing your game loop, your agent runs `get_character` to inspect the NPC's properties and generate matching code structures. This direct connection means you never write boilerplate code based on stale API docs. Your code editor reads the live schema, grabs the voice ID with `list_voices`, and writes the integration code for you.
Local Lore Syncing via Cursor Agent
The `update_knowledge_bank` tool syncs your local markdown files and game design documents with the Convai platform. Your agent scans your workspace, detects changes in your lore files, and pushes them using `upload_knowledge_bank`. You don't have to drag and drop files into a browser portal anymore. The MCP Server handles the transfer in the background while you focus on writing game mechanics.
Live Dialogue Testing and Narrative Triggers
The `create_narrative_trigger` tool defines how your game world events interact with your character's dialogue tree. Your agent uses `edit_narrative_section` to modify branching paths based on the code you are writing. To verify the logic, you run `get_response` to simulate player interactions inside your editor's terminal. This makes debugging complex game states fast and keeps your code aligned with your narrative design.
