Share this MCP Server across your team in VS Code
This MCP Server lets your entire development team use the same standardized country data. By checking in a `.vscode/mcp.json` config file, every engineer gets access to the `resolve_country` tool inside Copilot Chat. This prevents developers from using different external libraries or hardcoded arrays, keeping your codebase uniform and clean.
Validate shipping and CRM data in Copilot Chat
When debugging production logs containing raw country codes, paste them into VS Code Copilot. Your agent runs the `resolve_country` tool to quickly identify where the transactions originated. The tool returns alpha-3 and numeric codes, helping you verify if your payment gateway integrations are receiving the correct ISO formats.
Generate localized database seeds
Need to populate a test database with accurate localized country names? Using this MCP Server, your Copilot agent uses the `resolve_country` tool to fetch names in four languages. It generates clean SQL insert statements or JSON fixtures without requiring external APIs or manual lookups, speeding up your test suite setup.
