How to Use the Customer.io MCP in Cline
Cline executes tasks using your Customer.io data to build, update, and monitor your marketing automation.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Customer.io MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Customer.io to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build dashboards with Customer.io data in Cline
Cline can run `list_broadcast_messages` or `list_newsletters` to scrape your current content metadata. It then uses that info to generate reports or documentation. You can tell the agent to create a new component that displays these metrics. It imports the data and handles the formatting automatically.
Automate Customer.io workflows via Cline
Trigger `list_automated_campaigns` to audit your current messaging flows. Cline reads the trigger types and IDs to plan how your campaigns should evolve. It can then assist in writing the logic for new automations. The agent handles the implementation while you verify the output.
Sync customer data using Cline
Run `search_customers_by_email` to find specific users during a coding task. It maps the email to the correct identifier so you can keep working. For bulk tasks, `list_customers` provides the full list of people. Cline processes this data to help you debug or update your backend logic.
