Connect Cypress Cloud MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cypress Cloud to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build dashboards using Cline and Cypress Cloud
Tell Cline to build a QA dashboard, and it will use this MCP Server to fetch live test stats. It calls `list_projects` to find your target project and pulls recent run histories using `get_runs`. The agent then writes the React or Vue components, populates them with the live API data, and saves the file directly to your workspace.
Diagnose spec failures automatically
When a spec fails, Cline uses `get_instances` to find the exact file that failed and calls `get_tests` to read the individual assertion errors. It reads the error messages and stack traces returned by the server, then automatically modifies your local test files to fix the underlying issue.
Track down slow tests on demand
Cline can keep your test suite fast by checking `report_slow` over the MCP connection to identify bottleneck files. Once it identifies the slowest specs, it reads the local files, optimizes the selectors or wait times, and presents a clean diff for you to approve.
