How to Use the Daftra MCP in Cursor
Build apps on your Daftra data faster. Let Cursor's agent pull live client and invoice details directly into your code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Daftra MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Daftra to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code against your live Daftra data
Stop writing code against mock data. With this server, you can tell the Cursor agent, "get the details for client X and write a React component to display it." The agent calls `get_client_details` and gives you code populated with real information from your Daftra account. This changes how you build. Your code works with actual client names, invoice totals, and product lists from the start. It means you can spot issues and refine your logic immediately, without having to write a separate data-fetching layer first.
Build client management features
If you're building a customer portal, you can accelerate the work by having the agent call `list_clients` or `search_clients_by_name`. It can generate the code for search functions or client list displays right in your editor. It works for writing data, too. Need to build the backend for a "new client" form? Tell the agent what you need, and it can use the `create_client` tool to generate a working API endpoint handler in seconds.
Script reports with this MCP Server
Forget exporting CSVs to analyze your finances. Tell the agent, "get all invoices from last quarter and write a Python script to sum them up." It will use `list_invoices` to fetch the data and then generate the exact script you asked for. This is great for quick analysis. You can do the same with your expenses using `list_expenses`. Pull the raw data directly into your workspace and let the agent help you build scripts for categorization, filtering, or generating summaries.
