Connect DBpedia MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DBpedia to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Get Live Wikipedia Data, Automatically
This server lets Windsurf tap into DBpedia's live feed. Ask Cascade to monitor changes to a specific topic. It'll use `get_live_changes` and `get_live_resource` to pull the latest data from Wikipedia as it's updated. You don't have to prompt every step. Just tell Cascade your goal, like "Track updates for 'Quantum Computing' and summarize them." It chains the tools together, gets the data, and presents the result right in your IDE.
Run Complex Queries with this MCP Server
The `query_sparql` tool gives Windsurf direct access to the main DBpedia endpoint. You can execute complex SPARQL queries to pull structured data on almost any topic. It's capped at 10,000 rows, which is plenty for most research tasks. Instead of manually writing queries and pasting results, just ask Cascade. "Find all European capitals with a population over 2 million and list their mayors." Cascade formulates the query, runs it, and formats the output for you.
Find Entities and Concepts Fast
Need to find the right DBpedia resource? The `lookup_prefix` and `lookup_search` tools are built for that. They act like an autocomplete for the entire knowledge graph, helping Windsurf pinpoint the exact entity you're thinking of. This is great for fuzzy searches. If you ask Cascade to "get data on that German car company from Munich," it can use `lookup_search` to find "BMW" and then `get_resource` to pull the structured data. It just figures it out.
