Look Up Orders and Shipments on the Fly

The `get_order_details` tool pulls up a specific order's line items, recipient address, and full event history. You don't need to log into DCL's portal. Just ask Claude, "what's the status of order 98765?" and the information appears. The `get_shipment_details` tool works the same way for tracking numbers. Your agent can also find orders without a specific ID. Use `search_orders_by_keyword` to look up a customer's name or address. It's a faster way to find what you're looking for when you only have partial information.

Check Inventory from Your Chat Window

This server connects Claude directly to your DCL warehouse stock. The `get_sku_inventory_status` tool gives you the exact on-hand, available, and reserved quantity for any item. You can see which warehouse holds the stock and if any units are in transit. You can also monitor stock levels across your entire catalog. `list_low_stock_items` finds anything that's dropped below its reorder point. `list_warehouse_inventory` gives you a complete snapshot of everything you have on the shelves. Handling returns is part of the job. The `list_customer_returns` tool gives your AI client a direct feed into your Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). Set up DCL Logistics MCP in Claude Web or Desktop

Open Claude Settings

Go to claude.ai, click your profile icon, then navigate to Customize → Connectors.

Add Custom Connector

Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.

Restart Claude Desktop

Close and reopen the application. Claude needs a full restart to load new MCPs — refreshing a conversation is not enough.
